"Excellent location, you can hop around the city in walkable distances. It's easy to find car parking space after 2200, but it's really hard in day time and the parking fee is higher than other area of the city.
I recommend the hotel for traveller who want to explore this lovely city. "

"Located in the enter of old Taichung city close to the main train station. Good restaurants and confectioneries are within walking distance. Room is spacious, and the king bed is way bigger than its counterpart you see in America. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at The Splendor and would stay again. The hotel is in a great location, close to shopping and restaurants. It's also a short walk to the botanical gardens. Our room was very clean. It's an older hotel so a bit shabby in places. Scuff marks on the walls for example. Also the beds are very hard, but I was told this is typical in that area. Overall a lovely stay though."
"We stayed in the Deluxe Family Room, which was perfect for the 4 of us because of its space (2 full beds, 2 showers) and adjacent TV room with a sofa. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet (Chinese food, fruits, pastries) and the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The smart TV allows you to cast if you have streaming services overseas. The surrounding area has convenience stores but there is a need to ride a cab to major attractions or train station."
